John got off on drawing landscapes of some of his favorite scenes here in Michigan and in Florida. Most have something to do with the beach or some body of water. John spends a lot of time sailing and walking the beach, so, I guess you would expect his art to reflect these pursuits. These are soothing, nostalgic images... very easy on the eye.

The original drawings are black permanent ink on Rives Arches paper. The four on the left are large drawings with an image size of 16x24 inches, double matted to a size of 24x32 inches. The drawings below have an image size of approximately 12x18 inches double matted to a size of 18x24 inches. Frames are black aluminum with plexiglass glazing.
