Pat Gruca's Oriay bags use various types of 100% wool yarns that she knits into a multitude of different color patterns, shapes and textures. No two bags are exactly the same—each one is unique. After she knits the bags and purses Pat shrinks them in hot water to felt the wool.

Pat’s studio is located in a 130 year old farmhouse in Michigan. She has always been interested in fiber arts. She started experimenting with felting about two years ago. Many of her bags are detailed with specialty buttons, beads, pins and felted flowers.

Most of the bags shown here are available for immediate delivery but since each bag is unique there will be slight differences. Bags that are special ordered will take about 2-3 weeks to be shipped.

All Pat Gruca's bags and purses are hand-made and unique. No two are alike, although Pat likes to maintain a certain consistency in the styles she offers. When you order one of these bags you will receive a product that looks very much like the bags you see here, but with some slight differences... differences that make your bag a one-of-a-kind, hand made product by this fine Michigan craftsperson.
