She has a thriving company in her home in rural Vermont surrounded by acres of deep woods, a brook, perennial gardens and a clear night sky. All around the Socklady's home are working farms that grow grains and raise sheep, ox, alpaca, sheep dogs, cows and horses. She makes these socks out of a blend of cotton, nylon and lycra. The left and right foot in a pair are mismatched, but, as Marianne puts it, they are mismatched with care! They have the same five colors and same pattern design but the colors are knit in a different order. These are really fun (and warm) socks. These socks are perfect for stocking stuffers, laying around watching TV, hanging out in the dorm, or a gift for someone who is under the weather. Pick up a few pair for yourself and your friends.
